Training/recreational camp

Horse riding camp focused on improving your knowledge and skills.

RECREATIONAL MODE

(one lesson a day)

  1. Classes in the stable: basics of horse care and handling
  2. Lunging: working on your riding seat
  3. Correct aids
    • riding seat
    • reins
    • activating aids
  1. Balance in a dressage arena and on the trail: practical exercises
  2. Psychology of horseback riding: communication with the horse
  3. Improving your ‘feel’ in the saddle

TRAINING MODE:

(two lessons a day)
1st week: 29 July-05 August; lead trainer: FARID ATEULENOW – active competitor of dressage
2nd week: 05 August-12 August; lead trainer: PIOTR PIASECKI – 1st Class Trainer of the Polish Equestrian Federation, active competitor of eventing

  1. Elements of dressage and horse jumping:
    • seat correction
    • ground work – lunging
  1. Horse jumping and dressage lessons
PLEASE NOTE:

– there are two 1-hour lessons a day: dressage and horse jumping
– during the 1st week, the lessons are from Monday to Saturday (Saturday being a recreational day). Arrival and accommodation on Sunday, 29 July. The camp starts with a supper. The first lesson is on Monday at around 7:30 a.m.- 8 a.m.
– during the 2nd week, the lessons are from Sunday to Saturday (Saturday being a recreational day). Arrival and accommodation on Saturday, 28 July. The camp starts with a supper. The first lesson is on Sunday at around 7:30 a.m.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

– you can register for either one or two weeks of the camp
– participants owning a horse are welcome to bring it in
– working groups of 4 people (training mode)
– the organisers reserve the right to change the trainer (in unforeseen circumstances)
– the participants have stable and kitchen duty

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:

  • bicycle sightseeing trips (we recommend bringing your own bike)
  • swimming in nearby lakes (also at night)
  • canoeing on lakes or down the Łyna River
  • evening bonfire, singing both regional/traditional and world classics (if you play an instrument, take it with you!)

RECORDED AND THEORETICAL CLASSES:

Some of the lessons will be recorded to assess your progress, offer comments and tips for further work.
